The breakfast was placed on a little container that looked much like a wine glass, except the cup was actually a plate raised by a neck. There were three sofas and a large window where you could see outside. As he sat down to eat the pills that substituted as food since the convex, he looked outside and saw the dolphins playing like small children. Through the door, a man dressed in a dark coat with a high collar made from shark skin and hat the covered much of his face, walked in. He placed his hat and his coat on a rack in one fluid motion, it seem as though he didn't even do it at all, then he sat down one the last empty sofa.

This man was Selix’s father, Gorez. His father works for the government and whenever Selix asks his father about his work, Gorez would smile and just simply reply, “You will understand once you know what is truly on the surface.” His father was always excused for any unnecessary public appearances such as “Bring Your Parents to School Day which Selix had at school or “Global, Take Your Child to Work Day”. Though Selix’s father was always kind to him, Selix was forever guessing what his father was.

“Hi dad.”

“Good morning son.”

“How was work dear?”

“Same as always.”

He took a handful of the pills and swallowed them as though it were water. As I turned on the TV that was actually the glass of the window where the glass would change into the TV as you turn it on, I told my dad about the leak in the bathroom.

“There has been a report of 12 more cases of major flooding in the past week and officials are tell the citizens of the world not to worry, but after so many deaths, the people are becoming more and more restless and they want the know where the problem lies. Now, a new update says that officials have discovered faulty structure in the construction.”

Well, my friend still hasn't returned my USB and I'll get the story later. In the mean time... We're going to move soon to 41st and Oak, so I can be close to school, we are thinking of getting a pet, but we can't decide whether to get a dog or a cat.... the most original argument...

When people buy pets, they often choose to buy a dog or a cat, but which one is really better?
Dogs are are great companions and they are much more active then cats, but they need training and they need more attention then cats. Also they do not know where to place their droppings...
Cats are very proper and they aren't as clumsy or as crazy as the dogs, but they aren't very interesting to play with, they are just there to cuddle with.

"Morning!"

"I don't want to get up so early!"

"It's already 10 o'clock!"

"Five more minutes!"

"What? I heard hours!"

Selix opened his eyes to the silver ceiling and looked out from his bedroom window too gaze at a school of fish swimming by, ever changing directions as they move through the coal reef. He turned away from the mesmerizing shine of the metallic coloured ribbon that the currents held and started to hear the soft melody of running water. Curiosity had lead him to hurriedly pull on some clothes and a dark overcoat and walked through the automatic doors that lead out of my room and into the main hall.

The hall was carpeted with a long rug that covered much of the sandy seabed which our house was built upon. Yes, our house is under the sea. Everyone lives under the sea. Few, have ever glimpsed the surface.

He went to the washroom and found the source of the unknown sound, a crack in the wall. looked at himself in the mirror, his dark purple eyes and dirty blond hair looked dull in the morning. He went to the living room where his mother had his breakfast ready. There were three sofas and a large window where you could see outside. As he sat down to eat the pills that substituted as food, he looked outside and saw the dolphins playing like small children. Through the door, a man dressed in a dark coat made from strong fish skin and hat the covered much of his face, walked in. He placed his hat and his coat on a rack in one fluid motion, it seem as though he didn't even move his arms as he walked in and sat down one the empty sofa.

This man was Selix’s father, Gorez. His father words for the government and whenever Selix asks his father about his work, Gorez would smile and just simply reply, “you will understand once you know what is truly on the surface.”

Here in the city under the calm undulating waters lived Selix and his family. Here, they were safe from whatever terrors that lie above the water. Selix went to the washroom and looked at himself in he mirror, his dark purple eyes and dirty blond hair looked dull in the morning. Okay... as a little kid, I've always wanted to write a book, but after a few pages, I would get bored and I never had the determination to write more AND all of the things I wrote, I was never satisfied about them. BTW yesterday I was too tired to do anything so I feel asleep at 7 o'clock and I didn't do my Blog... =P

A boy and his younger sister were running down across the Times Square in New York. The were tripping over stones that were scattered from the shambles of buildings that were once tall and majestic skyscrapers. They were running in fear yet they had no where to go, no where to hide, no where to escape. In the distance, you can hear the growling roar of a beast and the shrill cries of it's victims as they are torn apart, limb by limb, as the monstrosities fought over their food like wolves fighting over deer. What was once the top predator of all species who considered themselves the most intelligent race in the world, was now being hunted like the prey to make room for the next predator.

The Pink Panther was funny because the Inspector was very clumsy while he did things, but in the end, he still managed to accomplish what he was trying to do. The inspector is also funny because of the way he talks and how clueless he is sometimes.

I still remember that day when our family walked into the piano store and there we saw numerous pianos. They were lined up row upon row like dark soldiers standing in a line waiting for inspection. I saw many pianos; there were upright ones, grand pianos, concert pianos, and electric pianos. At that time, I was foolish and I was thinking about our family’s financial situation, so I told my parents that I wanted an upright piano because it was cheaper and it took up less room in our small home. Now, I regret that decision and if I could go back in time, I would definitely ask for a grand piano. Every day now, I take the bus down Broadway and I see the showcase piano store and I gaze in awe at the magnificent pianos that they sold there. I press my face against the frosty window of the bus like how a child presses his face against the glass of a candy shop. Many times I have stopped near the store and stepped in to take a peek and many times I ran my hand along the smooth black wood and tapped a delicate song with my ten long musicians, yet every time I stepped out of that room, I would bury my head in my arms as cold, silent droplets of water rolled down my cheeks.

I wish I could have my own little country because I think I could create something that is almost a Utopia because I would only have people that have similar personalities would be allowed into my mini-country so that the amounts of disputes will decrease. I would also make laws accordingly to how the personalities of the people in my county etc.

School should be everywhere because every child has potential. Michelle Jean (our Governor General) came from Haiti.

Sometimes life always has to hide things from you, so everything seems so much more complicated then it has to be. It always makes it so that you don't get to do what you first intended to do and then once you think it through and got through all the confusion, then it does something again to confuse you again. Most things are ment to be easy, but then life is always confusing us again and again until we don't really remember a time that we were not confused.

School Uniforms

Most public schools in Canada don't have uniforms, but most private schools do have uniforms. I think that School Uniforms are not necessary because many students complain about the quality of the clothing and they also complain about how much time it wastes to change everyday. It also wastes the money of the school because they need to buy clothing every year for every child. I think that most public schools only buy these to show that their students are more 'intelligent' and 'richer' then normal students.

Work Hard Now and Be Happy When Your Older.
If I study hard now, I'll have a better future is better then playing around now and then having a painful future. I think it's better because the life once your older is longer then when you are young. Also, I think that studying and working hard will be easier when you are young then when you are older too.

Thank you Mr. Olson for the talk. After I thought through it a little bit, I think I'll be able to think and take care of myself now. As long as I know what's important to me and As long as I know what my priorities are, I think that even if my parents are like that, they will soon be able to relax and there will be no more rules.
I just need to always be aware of my priorities.

I feel like I am stuck in a cage. A cage made from an endless list of rules, a cage that electrocutes you the moment you step an inch outside it's reach, it is a cage that doesn't allow you to have friends, the feeling of being carefree, or the time to think of life as a good thing. Yet, I should still constantly hurt myself by trying to break free of this cage and take back the things you cherish, even if it only for a moment. It is always the good things that are short and sweet and the bad things that are long and torturous.

Travel
Travel is a way to maximize your experiences and many people who travel write books about their trip because they've had these experience. I wish that I could go on a trip around the world and I would make myself New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Venice, Moscow, Cairo, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Sydney, and Tahiti. Then I'd write a novel that depicts an 16 year old boy who had amazing assassination skills and he goes around the world and he is assigned to assassinate various leaders of countries. For his work, he gets a large sum of money too. =D

Saturday, January 2, 2010

For some people, it is very hard to concentrate on something that they don't enjoy doing, such as homework. Unfortunately I am one of those people. I find myself ways to concentrate such as closing all the lights and only leaving my desk-lamp open so that my eyes will not get distracted by my surroundings. I Also clear away all the clutter that is on my desk and I close the blinds so that I won't space out when I'm staring out the window. I Also use a timer to see how long it will take me to finish X amount of work so that I won't slack off. Also, I am continuously writing thing down no matter if they are notes, essays, or mathematical equations, it will help me focus on my work. Also I try to forget about any problems that might be happening to me at the moment because it might make me space out while thinking.

The Global New Year's Resolution

Obama said "America needs change!", but I beg to differ, I say, "The world needs change!". Just as people have new year resolutions, the world needs to come together as one and help each other to make the world achieve greatness. An ancient Chinese prophet once said "You can easily snap one chopstick alone, but if it were a bunch of 10, that task would not be simple." If all the countries help each other, then we will eliminate all the problems that we face right now.
-We must find a way to bring together our best scientific minds to solve the problem of Global Warming because it is the biggest problem of our time.
-We must stop the madness that is unfolding more and more every day in Afghanistan and Israel because it is unjust, aimless, and has gone on since thousands of years ago.
-They need to put more funding into finding a cure to old age because we do not want to waste the bright minds. If we had developed this cure, Einstein would have done much more to help the world's scientific advancement.
-We must find a way to explore into the distant space because our natural material is running out and unless we find a way not to use it, then we will definitely fall short of it in the next half century.
